| Band Boosters | ||||||||||||
| The HRHS Band Boosters was started in 1986 to help promote the many different music classes and activities. We support the band curriculum classes as well as extra-curricular activities such as the marching band program. Major projects accomplished this past year for the Boosters was to start a private lesson program. We will be applying for grants for the first time and are hopeful that we will be able to help sponsor the private lesson program in this way. Another goal accomplished was to purchase much needed instruments, replacing those that are barely hanging on. | ||||||||||||

By making use of the many wonderful volunteers in our community we can assist Mr. Knopf in creating programs that might not otherwise be available. We would invite all who are interested to check out our volunteer opportunities. We have a great group to help get you started and we always look forward to meeting and working with new people. Some jobs are as easy as creating a phone tree all the way up to running concessions at Shea Stadium. Some of the fund raising programs we have are concessions at Shea Stadium during football games and soccer matches, Shea Stadium clean up after the football games, Christmas Tree sales and King Soopers certificates. |

| Fundraising, unfortunately, is one of the most active roles of the booster club but an indispensable one that we cant do without you! Please support our fundraisers so that we may all contribute to the success of our music programs. This year the band department at HRHS has only received $2400 in funding for over 200 students. Music alone for the students is approximately $4000 so you can see that we have our job cut out for us. | ||||||||||||
