6 Cleaning Tips for a Party-Ready House

Are you having a party at your house on the weekend? Aside from the food that the guests should enjoy, you should also prepare the place. Impress your guests with a house that shines and sparkles. We know that you still have to organize the party itself, but don’t forget that the venue itself is also important. We will share with you a list of tips so you can successfully carry out special event cleaning Concord

Cleaning Tips

Make a Strategy

Seven days before the event, evaluate what needs to be done so you can accomplish the chores in a less stressful way. Pretend that you’re a guest. A guest can easily notice dusty corners and clutters that we often overlook. If you look at your house with a visitor’s eyes, you will notice a lot about your house. Check the entryway, and take note of the debris and bushes that might impede the guests’ entry. Check the kitchen and take note of the areas that need to be cleaned. Move to the living room and write down anything that can distract the guests. Once you’re done with this, assign the tasks to other party planner.

Clean the Windows and Entryway

6 days before the party, you can start cleaning the windows and entryways. You could be distracted with the other clutter around your house, but remember to stick to your list because there’s time for the other chores. A clean area would still look dirty if the windows are not cleaned. Get rid of the cobwebs and dust, and wash the glass. Clean the walkway, steps and the front porch.

Clean the Bathroom

5 days before the party, the bathroom should be sparkling-clean. Scrub the toilets, clean the clutter on the counters, take out the things you don’t need, scrub the shower and tub until it’s very clean and arrange the bath essentials.

Clean the Guest Area

Your priority is to make the guests comfortable by giving them a plenty of room to mingle during the party. Put away all the clutter and store them in a basket. Anything from toys, magazines, books, papers and shoes should be kept away. Scan the living room for any items that are unnecessary to be there. Prepare the coat closet so the guests can store their outerwear there.

Organize the Kitchen

During the party, you will need the kitchen to be in its top shape. If you have been deep cleaning your kitchen, then it will need some dusting on the day of the party. Make sure that the refrigerator is clean, the counter top is arranged, and the floor is clean.

Polish the Party Space

One day before the party, polish everything so you will still have the energy for tomorrow. Follow the list so you would know where to look. Dust the surfaces, ceiling fans, and the entryway. Clean the sink on your kitchen. You won’t have to worry about deep cleaning, because on the day of the party you’re just going to need some polishing.
