Entertainment Books ($25 each)
Now through 9/30/06:  The Band Boosters are having a sale to raise $ for the Band program.  The Entertainment book offers savings on movies, recreation and sporting games, ski tickets, entertainment, travel, hotels, grocery stores, fast food and restaurants.  Browse through the book and see how much $ you can save.  After registering the book at entertainment.com/register, the book owner receives a $25 gift certificate to a restaurant of your choice from restaurant.com.
Earn $5.00 for each Book sold (will be deposited into your Band Student Account)
Payment due at time of pickup $25.00 each
Make checks payable to Highlands Ranch H.S. Band Boosters with student's name in lower left corner of the check.
Books will be available for pick up on Fridays or by arrangement with Linda Weinstein at 303-470-5158.  Just turn in your check for $25 a book to Linda Weinstein or Nancy Bucholtz on Fridays or Mr. Knopf and you will get the books right on the spot.  If you want a book to show to customers to help you sell, you may want to buy one for your family and then use it.  

For each book sold, $5 is added to your personal band account and the Band Boosters makes $5 to fund programming, buy instruments and music and provide food at band functions.  Books cost $25 each.  Additionally, prizes are awarded as follows:

  • 1 book sold: 1 FREE Burger King frozen icee
  • 2 books sold: 1 FREE Burger King frozen icee and 1 FREE 10” Blackjack Pizza
  • 3 books sold: 1 FREE Burger King frozen ice, 1 FREE 10” Blackjack Pizza and 1 FREE Entertainment Book (keep it or sell it for the full $25)
  • 10 or more sold: 1 FREE Burger King frozen ice, 1 FREE 10” Blackjack Pizza,  1 FREE Entertainment Book (keep it or sell it for the full $25) and 2 ski lift tickets to Arapahoe Basin.

The band department section (10 per section) that sells the most books receives additional Burger King icees.  The top individual seller receives 4 ski lift tickets to Arapahoe Basin.

 

If the band department sells 50 more books than last year for a total of 190 books, then the 50 top band sellers each receive 5 Rhapsody.com music downloads.

Sell Out of Town Entertainment Books Online and Earn Extra profit!

The Entertainment book is available for almost every major city- more than 160 editions.
Members can send friends and family an easy-to-create e-mail message asking them to buy a book to support their group. There are no books to handle, no checks to collect and no paperwork to process. The e-mail messages already created and will take less than 5 minutes to create a customized version. It contains a special link to help buyers make a purchase online. The book is shipped directly to them and your group receives credit. All purchases are paid online using a credit card.
 

EMAIL CAMPAIGN - earn a chance to win an Apple Ipod nano Xbox 360 or Game Boy Advance by sending out 5 emails to friends and family.  Go to fundraising.entertainment.com and click on seller’s section.  Enter school account number 414659 and end date of 9/30/06.  You may enter 5 emails only once a day.  An email customized with the band’s information will be sent out asking them to support your fundraising efforts.

1. Make a list of everyone you know who has an email address and enjoys saving money.
2. Log onto the Internet and go to www.fundraising.entertainment.com and click on the Seller Section.
3. Enter your group's account number, 414659, so your group will get credit for your online sales.  4. Enter your sale's end date (9/30/06)
5. Enter e-mail addresses. You can enter city and state or zip code to allow recipients to view sample offers for their specific city .
6. An email message automatically customized with your group' s information is sent to your list of email addresses asking them to support your cause.
7. When an Entertainment book is purchased from this email, your group automatically receives credit for the purchase-
